Our People

Sure Shot Event Coffee is the brainchild of friends Nick and Russell who first met whilst working as physiotherapists. With a mutual love for coffee and customer service, they have established themselves as a great partnership with strong people skills developed whilst working in healthcare for over 15 years. They are both experienced baristas and attend all of our events to ensure quality and consistency.

Background

I started Ape About Coffee in 2012 whilst also working as a physiotherapist. I’ve seen the UK speciality coffee scene grow hugely and I’m glad to have been part of that movement - introducing people to delicious, fully traceable coffee at events and workplaces. When i’m not making coffee i’m usually trying to keep up with my daughter who keeps me young at heart!

Background

I made my first ever coffee working in a Cornish seaside café when I was still at school. Although I learnt the ropes at a young age, it wasn’t until 2014 when I first started working with Ape About Coffee that my interest in coffee really took off. I am a qualified physiotherapist and a lover of great food and drink, particularly wine!
